We are having club sign ups a little different this year. Don’t be worried by the word “tryouts”. Everyone will be on a team with minimum players to maximize playing time. There will be volleyball registration and tryouts for team placement on January 19th.
*** It has come to my attention that RUES and Driggs Elementary both have winter sports on that day. Anyone from 3rd – 5th grade from those schools can just come over and get registered to a team when they get back.
The registration / tryout times are as follows:
3rd-4th 4:00-5:00
5th-6th 5:00-6:00
7th-8th 6:00-7:00
High schoolers 7:00-8:00

Description: A fun-filled morning of developmental games that combine throwing and volleyball movements that develop hand/eye coordination, team cooperation, anticipation and movement skills for young athletes.

2011 CLUB VOLLEYBALL INFO:
Ages: 3rd – 12th grade
Practice Dates and Times: February 15th- May 5th 2011
5th grade and up: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-7:00 P.M.
3rd and 4th grade: Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 P.M.
Practice Location: Kindergarten Center
Tournament locations: 4 to 5 Saturday tournaments in the Idaho Falls/Rexburg area.
Cost:
5th grade and up: $100 per athlete if paid by January 31st ($110 if paid Feb 1st or later).
3rd and 4th grade: $50 per athlete if paid by January 31st ($60 if paid Feb 1st or later).

BOYS are welcome! They play one age group up, i.e. a 14-year-old boy would play on a team with 16-year-old girls.

Summer workout is M & W from 6-7:30 pm at the high school track.
Volleyball Camp is July 29 from 9-12 pm & 1-4 pm; and July 30 from 9-12 pm. Cost is $75 and includes a t-shirt (all money earned goes to the THS volleyball program). Camp is for grades 7-12.
THS tryouts are Aug 13 from 9-12 pm and Aug 14 from 9-11 am.

Volleyball Camp
Thrusday the 29th from 9-12 in the morning and then lunch break and then from 1-4. Then on Friday the 30th from 9-12 in the morning. Shirts will given for people who participate in the camp. It is open to grades 7-12. The cost is $75. Contact Shultz bschultz@d401.k12.id.us
With a heavy heart Sue Muncaster resigned as head coach for Teton High School today. She will be traveling with her family to guide trips in Italy this fall through Aerial Boundaries. She will, along with Erika Gyselman, continue to run the Volleyball Club of the Tetons and the Dave Richard’s Volleyball Camp this summer. Lou and Brian have both been recommended for positions… stay tuned. She will do everything to make the transition smooth so don’t hesitate to email her with questions, concerns.
